How to Travel in Style.
We all know that whether we're going on a long car journey or a long haul flight we want to be comfortable. However we also want to look put together. Can you be both comfortable and chic? I say you can.
Trousers
I know they're pretty basic but I find that for travel leggings are the best option. Many can travel in denim quite easily but I find that due to the roughness of the material denim is difficult to sit in for too long, which is why I always travel in plain black leggings. Not are they made of soft and stretchy material, making them easy to sit and move in, but due to their simplicity they can be paired with basically any top which makes them easy to turn from boring to stylish. If you want to make the outfit and bit less simple you can get many different patterned leggings from Primark to Topshop. The world will definitely be your oyster in a cute pair of leggings.
T-Shirts
In many other situations the first choice would be something to show off your figure but when traveling we want something loose fitting that you can relax in. Oversized t-shirts can bought from literally anywhere. Whether you are buying a purposely baggy shirt or a cool graphic tee from the men section you can look awesome. Just step in any high street store and look for a t-shirt with a snazzy design, whether it's your favourite cartoon character, band or slogan. If it's already oversized get your usual size, if not consider going up a size or two. Trust me. Don't be scared of entering the men's section. The men's section of Primark is filled with greatly designed and comfortable.
Shoes
Unless you want to spend forever at security avoid laces, laces with make the process of taking your shoes off and putting them back on a lot longer. I recommend a pair of flats or a pair of boots that slip on or have a zip, depending on when your travelling. If your traveling in winter or autumn I would recommend a pair of UGG style boots. Not only will they be easy at security but they will keep your warm on the plane. In the summer flats are good as they are easy to slip on and off.
Accessories
To save time at security avoid jewellery as it may set off the metal detectors. If you are traveling in winter or autumn I would recommend a simple beanie and matching snood. As accessories they will add colour and the snood will add texture. They will also keep you warm on the plane. In the summer I would recommend taking the largest sun hat you're packing. You may look a bit silly in the airport but it will save space in your suitcase and will help you when you reach your destination.
Just remember when travelling yes you want to look good but the priority is make your journey as simple and comfortable as possible.
Bon Voyage! :)
